The Wheelephant and the Leech

The Wheelephant is in need of some help, as he wants to eat pumpkins but can't reach them due to his inability to jump or manoeuvre around obstacles. 

Your job is to help him, but be careful: you lose life rapidly when you aren't leeching off of him.
